The Squids 3100F(x) Tool Lanyard with Aluminum Carabiner + Loop features a patented design that prevents falling objects while absorbing any dynamic energy that might be transmitted through the lanyard's length to reduce any torque that your body, or anchor point, might experience if a drop occurs. By reducing this shock load, this tested and approved design prevents the tool from pulling the user down with it, effectively protecting all involved, both those above and those below. Durable 1680 denier polyester, elastic-blend webbing with high-strength, three-ply nylon stitching on both ends ensures secure, reliable, lighter-weight performance, and the lanyard's single-length format eliminates the potential for the weak points commonly seen on multi-component lanyard alternatives. An anodized aluminum-alloy carabiner with captive-eye attachment point on one end delivers an easy anchoring option while minimizing the potential for lanyard tangles. A treaded loop on the other end securely grips the attached tool. These tool lanyards are built to withstand defined weight limits and can easily be used by any worker to help avoid accidentally dropping objects that could cause extensive property damage and serious, potentially deadly injuries. Third-party certified to a 10 lb maximum working capacity with a 2:1 safety factor.
